Troubleshooting
Service and maintaining
Periodic maintenance should be performed at intervals not exceeding 6 months or when
obvious fault occurs, i.e. flame burning abnormality or burner discoloration. These are general
signs of gas supply blockage or blocked burner ports.
To clean the burner ports, remove the reflector assembly by removing three nuts at the top
of the reflector. The mesh screen may then be extracted by removing four retention screws
at the base of the mesh screen and four screws at the top of the screen. Remove two screws
retaining the burner assembly, rotate the burner assembly slightly then remove the burner
assembly upwards.
Care should be always taken to avoid damage to the gas piping and ignition lead. The burner
and mesh screen may then be clean by compressed air. Assembly is a reversal of the above
steps.
