may cause fresh food to freeze and/or spoil.
• When the appliance is being set at 0°C or lower, do not store glass bottles in the unit as they
may freeze and shatter, leak or burst.
• Fruits and vegetables should be stored closer to the top of the fridge as this area is normally
slightly warmer. This will reduce the risk of spoiling and ensures that damage is not caused by
being crushed by heavier items.
• Frequent door opening will allow warm air to enter the fridge. Keep the number of times you
open the door to a minimum when possible.
• When located in the rear of a car or trailer, it is recommended the appliance is kept away from
direct sunlight to reduce the risk of increased heat. It should also be provided with suitable
ventilation to guarantee effi cient power consumption and performance.
Maintenance & service
The appliance should be cleaned prior to initial use. Use a soft cloth and lukewarm water. Pay
attention that no water drops into the seals to avoid damage to the electronics. Dry off the fridge
with a clean, dry cloth afterwards. Clean your fridge periodically.
In the off-season, store the car cooler in a closed original packaging in a dry and dark place
(e.g. a cellar).
In case any parts need to be changed, contact the G21 authorized service center.
Attention
Do not use harsh or abrasive detergents (with sand or acid) for cleaning your fridge.
Do not use brushes or hard sharp tools to clean your fridge.
Before cleaning, the power cable should be disconnected and the fridge switched off.
When storing your fridge for a long period of time, do not fully close the lid to prevent mold and
odors.
