Cleaning and maintenance
Important: Never touch the electric grid. Before maintenance and cleaning, turn the ON/OFF
button to the OFF position and wait for a while.
        1. Wipe the outer surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use steel wool, abrasives or chemical
        cleaners.
        2. Cleaning: Dead insects fall into the waste container at the bottom of the appliance. To empty,
turn the container anticlockwise, shake it out and reattach it to the appliance by turning it clockwise.
        Troubleshooting
If the appliance does not work as expected:
        • Check that the appliance is switched on (the ON/OFF button is in the ON position) and that the
        light bulb lights up.
        • Check that the waste container is emptied.
        • Check that the battery is sufficiently charged.
If, after checking all above points, the appliance does not work as expected, contact an authorized
        G21 service center.
DISPOSAL: Do not dispose of the appliance as unsorted municipal waste. Take it to a collection
point or throw it into a special container designated for the collection of electrical waste. You can
also hand in the appliance for disposal at an authorized G21 service center.
